saw-mill, Gravesville. Born in Chenango County, NY, 10/12/1833. Came with his parents to Wisconsin, and located in Waukesha County, and from there went to Rochester, Racine County, where his father engaged in farming and manufacture of saleratus and potash. He remained there till 1864, when he came to Calumet County, and bought forty acres of land, and in 1869 built his saw-mill in the village of Gravesville, which placed was named after his brother Leroy. In 1867 he married Miss Mary Lyons, of Waukesha. They have five children. Mr Graves has held the position of District Clerk and belongs to I O O F
